Meet Our Core Management Team

John Fortune

Principal/Executive Account Director

John brings more than 30 years of senior-level brand strategy, media and advertising business experience to DCF. Since he began in 2003, he has worked closely with clients to develop and supervise high-impact projects and multiple city-wide campaigns that have greatly benefited the City of New York. Prior to agency life, John earned a BBA and an MBA from Eastern Michigan University. His previous experience at various advertising agencies, working on multinational brands, allows him to be the leader he is today.

Jim DeAngelo

Principal/Executive Creative Director

Jim founded DCF in 2000 and brings over 25 years experience. He possesses a unique blend of multiple creative talents including strategy, concept, copywriting and design. While earning his BS in Psychology and Sociology from Cornell University in 1991, he assisted in several research initiatives in the human development and mental health realm. Under Jim’s direction, DCF has created widely popular, award-winning campaigns for NYC and beyond that create awareness, change behavior, and ultimately help to improve the human condition.

Lizzy Kitces

Associate Creative Director

Lizzy has been part of the DCF team since 2013, first starting out as an Art Director and eventually evolving into Senior Copywriter and Strategist. Lizzy has worn many hats over the years, but her knack for witty tagline generation has been an integral part of DCF’s successful campaigns. With a BA in Psychology and Studio Art from the University of Miami, as well as a Master’s degree in Mass Communication from the VCU Brandcenter, Lizzy is a creative problem-solving force.

Amanda Villiez

Senior Project Manager

Since 2021, Amanda has been our Senior Account and Project Manager. She graduated from Stockton University with a BS in Business Marketing and has over 8 years experience in the Advertising and Project Management space. She worked at IGN Entertainment as an Account Coordinator on various accounts such as Truth and FDA. As a natural born leader and planner with a strategy-driven mind and creative insight, Amanda has proven to be a valuable asset to our team.

Jennifer Gilman

Client Relations Manager

With a Communications degree from the University of Connecticut and extensive experience creating pitch decks, marketing collateral and leading business development for patient education technology startups, Jennifer brings a diverse background in business development, client success and marketing to her role. As Client Relations Manager at DCF, she specializes in federal contract management and excels at enriching relationships with both new and existing clients. Her expertise ensures precise execution and exceptional satisfaction, particularly in navigating the complexities of government contracts.

Agatha Rybicki

Senior Art Director

Agatha has been working with DCF since 2010. She is a skilled Art Director with a BFA in Graphic Design from Purchase College. Agatha has a background in non-profit brand design focusing on public arts, sustainable agriculture and food justice. In her spare time, she works with her first loves of ink and paper as a printmaker in her home studio.

Jenya Lugina

Associate Creative Director

Jenya joined DCF in 2004 and has vast experience in conceptualizing, creating and supervising much of DCF’s broadcast and animation-focused campaigns. Jenya has been a creative force with our team and has worked with many award winning illustrators, animators and film crews. Aside from working with DCF, Jenya has been a consultant, producer and creative technologist for various organizations and has even had his work presented at the Tribeca Film Festival and shortlisted at Cannes.
