The Challenge: Smoking is still a major health issue in many communities who speak many different languages.

Our impact:
Along with the NYC Department of Health, DCF developed an emotional and hard-hitting anti-smoking TV commercial and accompanying print ads involving a mother, daughter and terminally ill father dying from a smoking related illness. We adapted this video into 5 different languages for multiple demographics: English, Spanish, Russian, Cantonese and Mandarin.
